Heroes Season 2 – Episode 1

Meh.

It was ok. But it did not draw me in like last year’s episode one did. I will still give it a few episodes to go, but so far I am not feeling it.

This ep might be better in a second viewing. I’ll check it out when it replays on SciFi. Maybe I’ll spot more a second go round.

I won’t go into spoilers, but they do touch on most of the chars from season 1 and introduce some new ones. The story does start out 4 months after the Season 1 finale. There are a lot of changes to people’s lives that are not explained…pretty much telegraphing a episode to come this season like last season’s six month’s ago.

If you haven’t been reading the graphic novels, check them out at NBC.com/Heroes. You will find out more about the new characters, the Haitian, Hannah, Claude, etc.

Chuck, on the other hand, was pure fun. I do recommend checking this out.

Werewolf the Series on the Chiller Channel!!

Starting tonight at 6pm est, The Chiller Channel (Channel 257 on DirecTV) will start airing Werewolf the Series. They will air 6 episodes from 6 to 9 and repeat them at 9.

Wow…totally not what I expected. I’ll try to keep spoilers down. If you missed this, be sure to catch it Friday on Sci-Fi at 7pm est. All the threads do come together. Will Sylar destroy the city? Will Nathan be the villain? Does Ando die?

I ain’t sayin.

This show ended in a manner setting up next season. Part of me kind of was hoping for a different ending…but c’est la vie.

If you missed Heroes tonight, you HAVE to catch it Friday night at 7pm est. on Sci-Fi. This episode brought us more info on Hiro, Claire’s Father (is he good or evil…it may not be as black and white as all that), Isaac, Mohinder, Matt, and we see some Syler (sp?). Ok, he is still in shadow. We learn a little more about the Radioactive Man and other heroes are introduced. Nothing on Niki or DL this week. Which I did not miss in the slightest.

Next week promises to be a major plot point in the Save the Cheerleader. Save the World plot.
