General Help
- Outlook Express Disconnects after receiving email. See Below:
- Click on Tools across the Top
- Select Options from the bottom of the menu that appears. A new window
should appear. - Click on Connections or Dial-Up across the top of this window
- Look for the sentence “Hang Up after sending/receiving..”. If it is
checked, click on it to uncheck it. - Click OK
That should do it.
- Outlook Express shows blank messages. Quick fix.
- Click on Start and Run
- Type in "regsrv32 inetcomm.dll" without the quotes
- Click OK
- Internet Explorer gives Content Advisor error messages. See Below for a step-by-step fix:
Alright. This entails editing the system registry. I am NOT responsible if something bad happens and your computer needs to be restored. Step Lightly.- Make sure you are out of Internet Explorer
- Click on Start and Run.
- Type “regedit” without the quotes in the box and click OK.
- Click the + beside HKey_Local_MAchine
- Click the + beside Software
- Click the + beside Microsoft
- Click the + beside Windows>
- Click the + beside CurrentVersion
- Click the + beside Policies
- Click on the folder Ratings
- Hilite the Key entry in the right pane and delete it
- Close the Registry Editor
That should do it.
