Pets of the Week October 27, 2014

Mario
Mario’s a “game changer” who’s ready to race his way into your family and heart. This two-year-old, Labrador and Husky mix sports a grey sable coat and is looking to spring a little adventure into your life. He’s been searching high and low for his new family and has picked up great manners along the way. Always ready to one-up your expectations, Mario has been learning commands and showing them off at adoption events. Your home doesn’t have to be a castle for this medium-sized character to feel at home because all he wants is your love and friendship. He thinks children are just peachy and pet pals are great too. Mario is ready to take his game to a new level and find a family to complete his quest for boundless love.

Cider
As each season passes, new possibilities fall into our lives and Cider is hoping for good changes of her own. Cider’s beauty captivates all those who meet her, with her eyes that blend from green to gold just as the seasons blend summer to fall. Her coat is a long and luxurious mix of autumn’s finest hues, like fallen amber leaves. Cider is friendly and warm with other animal friends, but is more of a cuddle buddy than a playful pouncer. If this 4 year old feline could tell you her favorite way to while away an afternoon, it would be snuggled up close to you with a cozy blanket. An indoor life is just her cup of tea and she works hard to make no messes and keep her spaces tidy. Cider is ready to bring a new glow to her forever home and welcome in the new season alongside her own family.

Pets of the Week October 20, 2014

*** UPDATE 10/21/14: I just received word that both Pets were adopted on October 20, 2014!!! ***

Trixie
Ten pounds of compact pizazz make up this fun loving canine companion. Trixie is a black and brown little lady with a zest for life that can’t be simmered down. She’s a zippy Miniature Pinscher mix with big goals in mind: to perk up someone’s life and put smiles on plenty of faces. She may not be the biggest pup at the park, but her spicy flair and friendly attitude lets her big heart steal the show. Little kids are just her type, grown-ups are great too, and just about anyone looking to add a pinch of flavor to their lives will find just what they’ve been searching for in this 5 month old pup. Trixie is also a seasoned pro when it comes to making new pet friends and is keen to cuddle on the couch with anyone and anything in need of any extra peppy pick me up. So if you’re ready to kick life up a notch, come by and visit Trixie today.

Fuzz Fuzz
Fuzz Fuzz began her life like a character in a fantasy adventure story book. Today she peeks out from between the pages so you can se that she is the fluffiest former feral feline to have emerged from the “enchanted forest.” This four-month-old tiny Tabby fended for herself in the wild world of a feral colony before being whisked away by her fairy godmothers and transformed into the softest, silkiest princess of all. Her impish antics are on full display when she’s chasing kitten toys, but her house manners are impeccable. Fuzz Fuzz has the ear tufts and long whiskers of wily pixie, but don’t let the glamor fool you for a more loving lady isn’t found in all the land. Now Fuzz Fuzz is hoping to add another transformation to her tale and is currently seeking a cozy home to fill with warmth, love and a touch of magic. Her very own “Happily Ever After” could start with a visit from you.

Pets of the Week October 13, 2014

Tucker
Such a complete package, wrapped in a handsome coat is a rare find these days. You could say Tucker has it all: dashing good looks, a mind smart as a whip, and he’s a real charmer to boot! The only thing this 1 year young dog is missing is a family to lavish love upon. His easy-to-keep black and tan trim coat stays clean and shiny with little work at all. Tucker also strives to keep his kennel a neat and tidy space, so even though he is a larger pup of 55 pounds, he would fit well in most homes, inside and out. Like his Rottweiler cousins, this well rounded mix has excelled at being teachable and could easily move far beyond the “basics” going on to be the most well-mannered member of the family. People are the focus of Tucker’s world, but he also enjoys the company of cats and other dogs just as well. Come meet this treasure of a well-rounded dog, and fall in love with Tucker today!

Miss Prissy
Miss Prissy is as prim as tea and roses. Not one of her luscious, lynx point hairs is ever out of place, and her moon beam blue eyes are true show stoppers. But this 2 year old, petite lady is looking for a home that will let her blossom at her own pace. Any gardener will tell you, that perfection can’t be rushed and the most beautiful blooms take time to open up. When settled in, Miss Prissy is a chit-chatter cat who loves to chirp and meow. She is a courteous housemate, who keeps her spaces clean and makes sure her coat stays gleaming. Never one to impose, Miss Prissy waits patiently for her forever family to come along, but she hopes it won’t take too much longer. This coy rose bud hides a wealth of potential love behind her polite paws and Miss Prissy is ready to flourish in her loving forever home.

Pets of the Week October 6, 2014

Weebo
Weebo is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix on a mission. This 9-month-old lad is aiming to please and his sights are set on a family to impress. He has the fun loving spirit of the little brother you always wanted, with the good looks of the boy next door. His crisp, short coat is a classic mix of black and white, so it will blend perfectly with your family’s favorite sports team’s colors. He adores children of all ages and his outstanding leash manners mean he can tag along on all the extracurricular activities. Weebo has a true desire to learn and he wags his tail the whole time that he “sits” and “lies down” on command. He has so much love to give, that Weebo thinks he’s just enough and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Who needs other furry friends when your newest family member has a heart of gold?

Ini Mini
Somewhere between “itsy bitsy” and “teeny weeny,” exists a special ebony kitten named “Ini Mini.” At 4-months-old, Ini Mini may be a petite kitten now, but her larger-than-life joyful personality can fill a room. Ini Mini is everyone’s new best friend, playing politely with kittens, cats, dogs, children, and even a few lucky grown-ups too. This adaptable feline will fit right into just about any home, from active families to quiet singles looking to spice things up. Her bright yellow eyes twinkle against a deep black background of short, soft fur. This sweet little lady is sure to grow right into your heart and fill in all the spaces with fun and happiness. She is currently at Petsmart where you can pay her a visit.
