Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a fun popcorn movie. While, I prefer the first movie, Golden Circle kept the over the top action and eccentric villains going.
We get some callbacks to characters from the first movie, A very fun role and performance from Elton John, and a fun (if sterotypical) turn on the American version of Kingsmen.
I think it is worth seeing in the theater.
This one-year-old Bluetick Coonhound is the epitome of his breed. Henry is a high-energy dog who definitely needs a job to stay happy, fit and focused. This handsome, sophisticated-looking dog is smart, sensible, and stable. He’s also sensitive and needs a family who can be patient and provide him with positive reinforcement training. As quick as this dog can learn, it would only take dedicated consistency and love to allow him to be the perfect dog he knows he is.
Three months young and already as charming as a Prince, Damen is a black-and-white, soul-patch sporting boy who is nothing but a bundle of love. Although he surprises with momentary spurts of kitten energy, he’s more of an old soul watching what the other cats are up to and meditating on how good life is. He sports a white ascot on his chest which gives the illusion that he is more of a sophisticate, but the truth is that he’s just a fun, playful kitten who has a long life to enjoy with you.

Long-bodied, thick and stocky with legs shorter than his ears, Beau is a dog you can’t forget. This silly bundle of Basset Hound and Black Labrador loves to gallivant through with no particular destination in mind. His favorite activity is to dawdle in the yard and smell everything. He’s hoping to find something of interest, even if it is just a rock. Friendly, spunky, and as good natured as anyone could be, Beau is just a good ol’ boy with a big ol’ heart.
Never has a cat been born for the spotlight than Alexis. This brown and orange Tortoiseshell kitty may look like she’s royalty, but she’s nothing but a funny little flirt. Whether she’s nuzzling her head into your folded arms, slinking around your legs, or purring loudly as you scratch behind her ear, she’s pure love and fun. This one-year-old golden gal is destined to be someone’s best feline friend.

It from 2017 was a fun remake/reimagining of the 1990 Made-for-TV miniseries and book from Stephen King.
They were able to up the gore considerably for this theatrical outing. Scenes hinted at in the 1990 version were shown in all their gorey.
It (2017) stays strictly with the kids. No flashbacks. No adult versions at all. It is set in 1989.
It opens with Georgie floating his boat down the street – as shown in trailer after trailer. We are then introduced to the Loser’s Club with all their painful existences. Bad things happen to them, most at the hands of a mulletted Henry Bowers. I like the setting of 1989 as we move away from the 50s-esque greaser Henry Bowers from the book and 1990 movie. Of course, each kid gets their own introduction to Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
As the summer of 1989 marches on, the Loser’s Club comes together when they stand up to Henry Bowers and his gang. They are able to enjoy their summer vacation a little bit … until Pennywise ups his game.
This culminates in the Loser’s Club confronting Pennywise on his home terrain. No giant spider puppet here. No Lovecraftian horror that cannot be translated to film. Just Pennywise. sort of.
Thankfully the scenes afterward from the book were omitted.
It was fun hearing all the younger audience members shout in surprise when they final card showed The End, Chapter 1.
While no one can hold a handle to Tim Curry, Bill Skarsgard did an excellent job portraying Pennywise. Genuinely creepy.
I would recommend seeing this in the theater. And if you haven’t read the book, check it out. Maybe after Chapter 2 hits theaters.

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing a tune when you’re around Melody. This spunky, medium-sized, 3 ½-year-old is contagiously happy. She enjoys chasing balls, playing with toys and especially spending time with other dogs. At first, Melody may behave a little shyly, but a little attention and some tasty treats will have her curled up next to you in no time. With a blacker than black coat and perfectly perky ears, this super sweet pup is a super doggie friend.
Black, white and cute all over, Caleb is a uniquely marked, 3-month-old kitten with the perfect combination of calm, fun and frisky. Living nicely with other kittens and adult cats, Caleb is ready to chase, be chased, and toss around his toys with other feisty felines. When he’s in your arms, he’s relaxed to the max, falling asleep and purring at the highest volume. Sporting a black bow tie on his snow white suit, he’s one sophisticated kitty with a little dose of moxie.
