TootsieIf the thought of those classic chocolate-flavored, taffy-like candies from your childhood brings a smile to your face, just imagine the joy Tootsie, the dog, will provide every time you see her sweet face. This cuddly 5-year-old Chocolate Lab mix is as irresistible as they come, with an ever-present smile and a loving personality to match. She’s a gentle, calm-mannered girl who adores everyone she meets, from dogs to cats to humans, large and small. Tootsie is about as close to perfect as you’re going to get, and she’s hoping you’ll give her a home for the holidays.

ZuriOne word comes to mind when you see Zuri: adorable. This 4-month-old black and orange Tortoiseshell is, without a doubt, one of the cutest kitties you’re likely to meet. Her dark coat is accented with splashes of orange and cream, which is quite attractive, but it’s the strip of cream down her nose and the almost diamond-shaped orange mark on her forehead that give the appearance of an artist’s touch. But Zuri isn’t all about the good looks. She’s also playful and loving, liking nothing better than a chance to wrestle with a feline friend, then settle in for a few snuggles with her human.

MilesIf you’re looking for a canine companion with a heart of gold, a boatload of energy, and a face so handsome, he could appear on the cover of doggie magazines, Miles is your man. This 10-month-old German Shepherd mix is a heartbreaker for sure, with his black, white, and tan coat and big brown eyes, but it’s his sweet personality that will truly win you over. Miles is humble and very eager to please, and nothing makes him happier than spending time with people. He’d much rather get pets and snuggles than chase after toys. This is one irresistible pup who wants nothing more than to be a part of someone’s family.

FelixA cat called Felix may sound a bit cliché, but the name means happy or lucky, which really fits this lovable guy. Big, handsome, and fluffy, he sports a thick black coat with a splash of grey on his chest. But his good looks are simply icing on the cake, as he is an absolute sweetheart and love bug. As soon as you pick him up, he’s giving you head butts and tight, snuggly hugs. At 3 years old, he’s moved beyond the hyper kitten stage but still quite young, with many years of affection and companionship to offer. Felix gets along well with other cats and seems to truly enjoy getting to know everyone he meets.

Overlord

Overlord

Overlord is a good WWII movie. With monsters. You will leave this movie and want to immediately watch Band of Brothers. I like to think of Overlord as its prequel.

After reaching their target, the paratroopers come to realize that besides fighting off Nazi soldiers, they also must fight against horrifying, bloody, and violent creatures that are a result of a secret Nazi experiment.

SugarWho doesn’t want a little more sugar in their lives? Well, you’re in luck, because you can have just that with this sweet pup. Sugar is a 1-year-old Terrier-Pointer mix with a winning personality and a face just as lovable as her name. She sports a pretty white coat accented with a dark brown patch over her right eye and ear, but it’s that huge grin that will steal your heart. Sugar can be a little bashful at first, but once she gets to know you, her true outgoing, high-energy nature comes through. She absolutely loves toys, and would be delighted to find a family that would take her on long hikes.

SantanaYou’d be hard pressed to find a prettier kitty than Santana, and why would you even try? She’s 5 months old with a gorgeous grey and white coat, light green eyes, and a loving, playful personality. She likes to show her affection for her humans by giving kisses and asking for head scratches, and she’s perfectly content to share her space with other cats. She’s a truly sweet girl who’s sure to brighten any household. Despite her famous namesake, however, Santana prefers a more reserved lifestyle and isn’t interested in having her picture taken very often. Come fall in love with Santana before someone else does.
