Pets of the Week July 27, 2020

SimbaSimba is a handsome two-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gorgeous golden coat, golden eyes to match, and an expressive smile that’s always on his face. Don’t let his namesake fool you, however. While Simba may look somewhat like a lion, his personality is that of a lamb’s. He’s a shy, gentle giant who loves people and likes to be near someone at all times, preferably in your lap if he can fit. He enjoys the great outdoors and takes pleasure in running around with other pooches. Simba has so much love to give, so do yourself a favor and come meet him!

DahliaDarling Dahlia. What else is there to say about her other than that she is a prima donna. She knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it. She likes attention and head scratches, but she will only accept them on her own time; under her own accord. This beautiful tortoiseshell kitty is only one-year-old, which means she still has a playful side, and she loves to wrap around your arm and give little love bites whenever she allows you to pet her. When she’s done playing, she prefers some privacy so she can take a cat nap in peace. Will you be the one to give this little diva the home she desires?

GeneralMeet General, a livewire of a pup with a sweet disposition and a keen desire to find his forever home. He is a handsome two-and-a-half-year-old hound and terrier mix with a clean white coat with striking brown and brindle patches throughout. General has already faced a lot of hardships in his young life, including homelessness and mange, but he has overcome everything like a champ. He is a ball of energy and would be so happy to go to a home with a big backyard and another four-legged friend to play with. General is a good boy who truly deserves a loving home.

RowanGet ready to fall head-over-heels in love. Rowan is a seven-year-old tortoiseshell who is absolutely stunning, with a warm and gentle disposition to boot. She is a little older, which just means that she’d prefer to take a catnap in your lap or sunbathe rather than play. She loves attention and is quick to lean in for a scratch or head rub, and in return she’ll serenade you with her purring. Come and claim Rowan for yourself; she’s waiting for you!

Pets of the Week July 13, 2020

NanaThere’s something special about senior dogs. Their faces may be a little whiter than in their younger years, but their hearts are made of pure gold. Take Nana, for example. This eleven-year-old Hound mix’s deep brown eyes radiate kindness and offer a glimpse into an experienced soul. Despite her age, she still has the energy of a young adult and loves to take walks and explore the great outdoors. Nana gets along with everyone–adults, children, and dogs alike. She’s a loving, gentle girl who’s hoping someone special is going to welcome her into their home for the rest of her life.

HarryHarry is patiently waiting for that special someone to give him a home of his own. This fancy feline is only one-year-old, with striking yellow eyes and an all-black coat except for the white “ascot” he wears on his neck. He is quick to warm up to people and absolutely loves attention, and while he’s usually pretty quiet, he is not afraid to let you know when he hasn’t received his daily amount of cuddles. Harry was previously in a home that had a lot of other animals, so this time around he’d prefer a quieter setting where he can have most of the house to himself.

GirlfriendDon’t you wish your girlfriend was as cute as me? Don’t you wish your girlfriend was as fun as me? Girlfriend is a four-year-old Retriever mix with a sleek black and white coat and beautiful amber eyes. She enjoys long walks and late night cuddles and is seeking a loving family to call her own, preferably one where all members would enjoy spending plenty of time with her. Girlfriend likes the company of other dogs, but she can be choosy on who she’ll allow into her friend group. However, as long as she receives love from her human friends, she will be happy and content.

SamsonIf you’d prefer a calmer, more relaxed cat over a rambunctious kitten, then Samson is the cat for you. This distinguished gentleman is both handsome and well-mannered, but what he lacks is a home. With alluring green eyes, white socks, a bold tabby pattern and the cutest pink nose, Samson’s looks alone should be enough to win over someone’s heart. If that isn’t enough, then his personality will really do the trick. He’s very quiet and always asks politely for what he wants with a soft meow or gentle head nudge. He loves attention and happily purrs anytime you pet him. This gentle, courteous feline is waiting for you.
