Pets of the Week April 10, 2017

A big bundle of chocolate goodness is Baxter, a 3-year-old Retriever mix who would look super sweet on anyone’s couch. Stocky and strong, Baxter likes to get his workouts through long walks, galavanting through the yard, and jumping up to give hugs. Afterward, he likes to relax, lie in the sun, and show off his glistening Indian red coat. Baxter’s full of enthusiastic playfulness, so a family who enjoys a game of fetch and retrieve, jogging, and other fun, energetic activities would be perfect for him. Baxter is an all around American dog hoping for the ideal family and … a doggy bed to call his own.

As pretty as a picture and dignified as a queen, Clover is a lovely, black and white adult cat who’s calm, cool and collected. With a preference for an extra soft and fluffy bed for her extra soft and fluffy body, she loves to curl up in a tiny little ball and enjoy long and luxurious naps. When not focusing on her beauty rest, she loves quality time with people. Her gorgeous mellow yellow eyes will brighten as you sit down to pet her and tell her about your day. Clover is a spectacular companion for those who like to relax and lead the calm life with their one and only best friend.

Princess’ dreams are no different than most “girls.” Dressed in jeweled attire and adored by many are a few on this two-year-old’s wish list. Most of all she longs for lasting love. A child’s playful fun and a grown-up’s gift of time and attention bring out the sweetest of her smiles. Long-legged with pretty white boots and a buckskin coat, Princess is dressed to impress so that you’ll be awed by her presence and destined to fall in love.

Plenty of sunshine lies ahead for whoever adopts Sunny, a year old Tabby who is as orange as marmalade and just as sweet. Gentle natured and easy going, this charming fella longs to be a part of whatever it is you’re doing, whether it’s cleaning house, cooking dinner, or watching TV. If there’s a lap available, he’s in it! An expert at catching toy mice and a huge fan of tasty treats, Sunny will always keep you entertained and on your toes.

Pets of the Week March 27, 2017

Petite Norma is a soft-hearted, 7-month-old kitty who was born to a stray mother and hasn’t enjoyed human attention. So at her young age, she’s now just learning about people. She’s realizing that a little bit of love and attention is pretty nice. Her innocence is endearing, while the beauty of her butterscotch and smoky black coat is captivating. A delicate princess, Norma looks forward to a quiet home with people who will show her kindness, offer her gorgeous window views of the outdoors, and spoil her with kitty treats.

Google the word “handsome” and you’ll see a picture of Bruce. His steel gray coat gleams in the sunlight like a shiny new car, and his stocky, strong legs are built to race around the world with enthusiasm. A true sports-dog, he’s always game for a cross-country trip with his best human pals or a game of toss the toy. With his boyish grin, exceptional disposition and an abundance of affection for all, Bruce is the boy that fits perfectly into any family.

Pets of the Week March 20, 2017

What can be said about Keith? A lot as a matter of fact! He’s a burning, churning ball of playful energy and endless love. His medium build is 100% muscle and his brain 100% smarts. He learns very quickly and a family who patiently works with him will be dazzled by the genius and fun they’ll have in their midst. Attention and affection are as good as gold to Keith and the more he gets, the more beautiful life becomes. Between his adorable underbite and his quick, “I’m listening” head-tilt, this brindle man-dog is quite the head turner and canine comic.

Judging by his shyness and battered body, Brutus had been living a challenging life before he ended up at the shelter. He initially hid and shied away indicating he had a clear fear and distrust toward people. Once in good hands, he received regular meals and loving attention and he has now blossomed in many ways. Not only is he more allowing about being picked up and held, he freely purrs expressing his newfound peace with life, and he’s gained three pounds! His sunshine yellow eyes sparkle with a joy that’s showing his true personality and he’s coming out of his shell more and more every day.

Peppy Pepper is a charming little fella with the perfect combination of spunk and charisma. Black as coal with expressive greenish-yellow eyes, this medium-sized cat loves to strut by you and flip his tail high in the air, confidently showing off his good looks. Need a friend to talk to? Chatty Pepper will carry on a colorful conversation about whatever you feel is a hot topic. At just 8 months old, he’s still a little uncertain of dogs, but he appreciates the companionship of other cats. Most of all, he loves a gentle ear rub and soft petting from his humans. Be sure to stop by Petsmart and visit him. You’ll notice his pleasant demeanor right away.

Passionate and fun, you’ll find Curtis passing out kisses while welcoming good people and good times.
