Pets of the Week December 16, 2019

LaylaLayla’s huge, sincere smile is a reflection of her big personality. She’s a ball of delightful energy, and she’ll swoop in for all the attention she can get. She’s a two-and-a-half-year-old gray and white terrier mix with a very expressive face and ears that stand tall and proud whenever she’s happy or excited, which is basically ALL the time. Layla has become a staff and volunteer favorite as she’s proven herself eager to learn, whether it’s “sit” and “down” or how to walk nicely on a leash at the dog park. She absolutely adores toys, and she’s hoping her Christmas stocking will be full of them, although her most heartfelt wish is to find a home. Won’t you welcome Layla into yours?

BlizzardBlizzard is a truly beautiful black-and-white tuxedo kitty with enormous golden-yellow eyes that radiate intelligence and just a touch of mischievousness, but that’s to be expected with any eight-month-old feline. She’s very personable and easy-going, accepting cuddles and scratches with good grace, but seeming just as content when left to her own devices. Blizzard is gentle, sweet, playful, and basically an all-around lovely cat. And she’d like nothing more than to make your holiday season the best one ever.

Pets of the Week December 9, 2019

BruceThis gentle giant is all dressed up and ready for those Christmas parties. Bruce is, without a doubt, a big guy, but his personality is more like that of a cuddly teddy bear. Bruce is a handsome 4-year-old black retriever mix with a huge, ever-present smile and a sweet, loving personality. He really enjoys being outside and will occasionally play with a favorite toy, but more than anything, he just wants to hang out with someone. He’s active but not hyper, so he’d fit in happily in just about any household, and since he likes other dogs, he’d be content to have furry siblings as well. Don’t you want this dashing fellow with you this holiday season?

TiggerHow could you possibly resist this happy-go-lucky kitty? Tigger is not only one handsome feline, but he has a laidback, playful, and tolerant disposition that makes him close to perfect. He loves toys, and he wanted us to pass on that he secretly asked Santa for a laser pointer for Christmas as well as a family, because he can’t imagine anything more entertaining. This eight-month-old black and brown tabby is a delight for the eyes as well as the heart, so please consider adding him to your family this festive season.

SiriusSirius is proof that sometimes the best gifts do indeed come in big packages. This handsome 2-year-old, black retriever mix is what most people consider to be a large dog, but he sees himself as a lap dog, and telling him otherwise is simply pointless. He LOVES attention and is eager to please, proving to be intelligent and a quick study. He’s very laid back, although he’s willing to play as well, and he gets along with other dogs, making him even MORE desirable. Won’t you welcome Sirius into your family this holiday season?

Pets of the Week November 25, 2019

PinkyPinky has so many exceptional qualities, it would take more than a paragraph to paint a proper picture of her. She’s smart, eager to please, and very people-oriented, meaning she loves to be with her humans, whether it’s playing with a favorite toy, learning a new trick, or hanging out in the pool. At about 18 months old, she has plenty of energy, which she’s happy to run off with either two-legged or four-legged friends. Pinky is as pretty as she is precious, a mostly white retriever mix with huge expressive ears and a grin a mile wide. Swing by and meet Pinky today.

O’MalleyO’Malley is a gorgeous brown tabby with a fun, playful personality that any cat lover will immediately appreciate. She’s only 6 months old, so you can expect her kitten energy and curiosity to endure for quite some time to come, which is exactly why everyone loves her. She isn’t afraid to ask for attention when she wants it, happily accepting scratches and snuggles, but then being just as content to chase after a favorite toy. O’Malley is truly one fabulous feline, and she’s hoping your home will soon be her home as well.

EeyoreDon’t let Eeyore’s large stature fool you – he’s a big boy with a gentle soul, calm demeanor, and enduring devotion. Eeyore is a 5-year-old black-and-copper mixed breed who’s won the heart of every single person he’s met so far. It is simply impossible NOT to love him. AND he gets along well with other dogs. This sweet boy is about to be treated for heartworms, so he’s looking forward to finding a home where he can relax and spend the rest of his life being adored.

MercuryMercury is a handsome fella with a big personality. He’s 6 months old, jet black, and a laugh a minute.
