Pets of the Week February 20, 2012

First he’ll win you over with his excellent housetraining; then he’ll pull at your heartstrings in a spirited tug of war, and you’ll be a goner for sure. Our fun-making Lab/Boxer mix Walsh adores the game — especially having you on the other end — and he always plays for keeps. At just one year, our former stray Walsh holds his handsome head proudly when you walk him on a leash, and his affinity for children is instant, gentle and natural. The gleam on his easy-care coat may blind you but you can’t overlook his exuberance; his affection-filled heart is bursting to make you his own. Come look into his warm brown eyes and see how a young boy named Walsh can embody all you desire in a steadfast family dog, and more.

Rounding out the “Back in Black” theme, Salem is a hunka hunka burning love brimming with sugary sweet affection. He is very talkative and ready to accompany you as you perform your household routines or enjoy your recreational activities. I am comfortable indoors or out — a little of both worlds is great for me. Some of my favorite activities include sunbathing and long naps on any comfy surface I can find. I get along with both dogs and cats alike.
