Pets of the Week November 12, 2012

He’s as supremely “Boxer” as a Boxer can be — a bright, energetic, playful young athlete; a credit to his breed with every fiber of his rollicking one-year-old being, and the find of the century for Boxer lovers, who understand the vast love and faithfulness these dogs are famous for. Aspen’s owner had to move to an apartment and sadly gave him up, now this splendidly handsome boy’s set to respond to your training and leadership. Aspen’s smart, a careful listener, and avidly affectionate; he gets along beautifully with other dogs and offers a treasure trove of friendship for your family — we recommend big kids because of his size and exuberance, and an inside/outside home. Meet Aspen and see how quickly he becomes your paradise in white; his heart’s big, strong and true, and ready to return your resounding friendship.

She’s all that autumn has to offer without the blazing colors; 2-year-old Fall wears swatches of orange, gold and tan as muted as her meow, and she’s as cozy as a fire on the first chilly night, too. Fall was turned in by her owner and she’s a little shy at first, but scratch her back and she’ll reward you with a gentle head butt, an ermine-soft face rub, and the full attention of her exquisite tri-color face, immaculate white chin and all. Fall is full grown and forever petite; she’s tidy and civilized, accepting of other pets, and happy to spend some time outside in the sun as long as she can come in to share her warmth with you. Hear how pleasingly her tender purr wards off winter; Fall is here in her full-sweet glory, and she’ll make your hearth and home as complete as your dreams.
