Pets of the Week March 24, 2014

Emma
Her sweet disposition is as classically appealing as her name — Black Lab/Hound mix “Emma” wants nothing more than to love and be loved by you, and a big yard to run (and sniff) in would also be oh-so-nice. Eight year old Emma’s too considerate to jump on you, she simply jumps for joy close to you and then gives a loving kiss; she enjoys other dogs, is great on a leash, and would form a mutual admiration society with your kids in 10 seconds flat. Emma would be a good as an inside pet with outside play space. She’s gentle but active, comes happily when called, and is so cooperative she’ll kennel herself on request. Genuine friendship awaits, the kind that stands the test of time; come meet a treasure named Emma.

Venus
She’s named for the Roman goddess of love and beauty, but big-kitten Venus is too busy playing, purring and snuggling to notice such fancy things; at 6 months young she’s the perfect age for your kids, full of mischief and merriment but not too fragile or boisterous for them to handle. Venus was found stray with her sister, her immaculate black and white coat makes it easy to live up to her namesake’s “beauty” and the “love” comes as naturally as breathing. Visit Venus at Petsmart today and leave the myth behind, make her warm face next to yours a real and lasting delight.
