Don’t Breathe

Official Site: DontBreathe-Movie.com

Starring: Stephen Lang, Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, Daniel Zovatto

dontbreath2Don’t Breathe opens on 3 young adults, Rocky, Alex & Money burgling a residence in Detroit. It is shown that they are using keys and security codes from the home security company where Alex’s father works. Alex is constantly warning about how much to take to keep the crime from becoming a felony. They are given information on a potentially large score: a blind man who received a large settlement after his daughter was killed in an auto accident. We get a little character development on the 3 youths as to why they would risk going after a large score. Rocky and Money are going to go to California with Rocky’s daughter. Alex decides he will go with them. We see he is hopelessly pining after Rocky.

The 3 youths break in to the house and promptly realize they picked the wrong house to break in to. I forgot to mention the blind man served in the military until he was blinded. What follows is a long fight to escape the house with or without the cash.

TL;DR Fun movie to watch with a crowd. You will empathize with the blind man, then the burglars, then the blind man again, then the burglars…

BraxtonIf there’s one thing Braxton has aced, it’s being an optimist. 2-years-old and thrilled with life, his perma-grin brightens the cloudiest of days and his positive attitude is an instant mood booster. He loves to spend time with adults, kids, dogs and cats, so he’s happy with family time at home or a social outing shaking paws and kissing babies. A spirited fella, Braxton would love a home with a lush, green yard for running and playing. You just can’t help but love this brindle-colored, “Life Is Good” kinda dog.

LaceLace is the type of pretty little cat everyone wants to show off. Her sea foam green eyes are back dropped by a plush ebony coat, and it only takes one glance to be hypnotized into love. 3-month-old Lace is a little explorer, searching through all nooks and crannies and peering around the corner to look for the next adventure. If there’s be a toy awaiting her discovery, then the search is even more fun. Don’t worry, though, because she’ll always come back for snuggle time. ChiChiChiChi is unaware that her previous owner’s attempt to crop her ears was a DYI failure. She wears her unique look with pride and it’s that kind of “lemons into lemonade” spirit that makes her so endearing. This ultra sweet and friendly 1-year-old lives and loves to play, and she’ll play with anything — people, dogs, toys, cats, kids, her food bowl. ChiChi is 30. lbs. and appears to be a Hound and Terrier mix. She’s full of energy and having a yard to run, and a family to play with, will make her happiest.

AutumnThere’s nothing wrong with wanting to be the queen bee and that’s what Autumn wants everyone to know. She feels she is deserving of royal treatment and to be the rule-maker of her “queendom.” She is an independent young lady who prefers sole ownership of her space and enjoys visitors to her royal court upon her request. This green-eyed Tortie’s autumnal coat is bursting with color. Never has orange and black been so beautifully mixed. Autumn is not just a cat. She’s an experience.
