Pets of the Week November 6, 2017

The “J” in S.J. stands for “Jell-O” because he melts into laps and then wallows like a big helping of the jiggly dessert. S.J. often plays coy offering an irresistible “feel sorry for me” face, but quickly lights up with his dazzling smile begging for neck scratches and snuggle time. Although he loves people, he’s a bit picky when it comes to selecting his canine companions. And at just a little over one-year-old, this large-sized mixed breed isn’t short on energy and can jump impressively high, so he’s hoping to find a forever home with someone who shares his love for being active.

Not only does Jason sport half of a Charlie Chaplin mustache, just like the silent screen star’s infamous character, “The Tramp,” he’s also had a tough little life. He was found as a lost kitten trying to figure out how to survive on his own. His dogged determination, with the help of a kind stranger, paid off. He’s now able to relax knowing he’s fed regular meals and can enjoy a warm bed. Jason isn’t camera shy. In fact, he’s quite the glamour puss happily posing for pictures whenever anyone wants to snap a few shots to show off to their friends.

Adoption fees waived for the pets of the week through Saturday!
