Puppet Master The Littlest Reich

Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich

Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich is a gory B-Movie throwback to the late 80s early 90s Puppet Master films from Full Moon. It is not a reboot …. more an alternate history version of Puppet Masters.

Instead of fighting Nazis like in the other films, Andre Toulon worked with the Nazis. To the point that his home was decked out in Nazi imagery – including an 8 foot swastika.

The puppets all have new looks (I prefer their original looks, but that’s just me). They are not unique. Instead of one Blade, there are numerous iterations of him, Pin Head and the rest. We are missing Jester and Six-Shooter, though.

The gore was excellent and appeared to be practical effects for the most part. Tom Lennon is a surprising lead for this horror movie. There are some deaths that I wish had not happened in the latter half of the movie. One especially since it was meaningless and seemed to be there more for comedy.

The ending does set itself up for a sequel in this new Puppet Master Reality. Who knows? Maybe we’ll get an Original Puppet Master versus New Puppet Master movie down the line.

This is a B-Movie. This is not an Oscar-level movie. Please bear that in mind. I can really only recommend this movie to fans of the original movies.

Starring: Thomas Lennon, Michael Paré, Jenny Pellicer, Nelson Franklin, Barbara Crampton, Charlyne Yi, Udo Kier, , Stephen Brodie, Mary Katherine O’Donnell, John Walpole, Mercedes Cool, Charles “Skeeta” Jenkins

Synopsis:

Delaney is as sweet and intelligent as she is beautiful. This one-year-old black and tan Shephard mix has one desire: to find a family that will return the affection she so readily gives and provide her with the opportunity to run and play every day. She is a very active girl, so she’d be delighted to have a fenced-in yard in which to wear off some energy. She’d be even happier if her humans wanted to take her hiking so she could explore the great outdoors. Even though she loves being outside, Delaney fancies herself a bit of a princess as well and wants to be an only child, so she’s sure to get all of the attention. Come by and meet darling Delaney today.

Ana is destined to make some very lucky family extremely happy for many years to come. This four-month-old orange and white kitty is nothing short of adorable, and her loving personality just adds to the picture of perfection. Once she’s settled in and gets to know you, she is a very cuddly, affectionate girl, and she thinks that cat toys, especially little fuzzy mice, are the best thing since sliced bread. She’s also quite content to share her space with other cats or dogs, and she thinks kids are pretty cool as well. Ana truly is an all-around wonderful cat. The only thing she’s missing is her forever family.

The Predator

The Predator is not a reboot, thankfully. It acknowledges the previous entries (minus AVPs).

The movie opens with McKeen’s team in Mexico attempting to assassinate drug cartel members to free as hostage. But a predator ship crashes the party. MvKeen is the only survivor ad brought back to the states – but not before shipping a mask and gauntlet to his PO Box back home.

We get a scientist specialized in hybridization to the government secret base where the predator that crashed is being held. Things escalate as the predator escapes and McKeen and a bus load of section 8 patients attempt to hunt it down.

But the predator is itself being hunted by a bigger scarier version. All trying to get to McKeen’s son for the tech he got in the mail.

Zany bloodshed ensues.

The plot is all over the place. I wish it had been more stripped down. It does setup a possible sequel.

Starring: Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Augusto Aguilera, Yvonne Strahovski, Jake Busey

Kai and Aaliyah
Kai and Aaliyah
Kai (right) and Aaliyah (left) are the definitions of puppy love. These two adorable young chocolate lab mixes adore each other and want to find a home together. Kai is about as fun-loving as they come, offering everyone he meets a big grin and a playful swish of the tail. He loves spending his time running around with Aaliyah, whether they’re wrestling or sharing a toy. Aaliyah has a sweet, loving personality that perfectly matches her cute face, and her affection for her best friend runs deep. Both of these irresistible pups are still quite young, under 2 years old, so they have plenty of energy and lots of years of love to give.

Socks
Socks
You’d be hard pressed to find a cuter kitty than Socks. Her inky black coat is accented with white on her chest and an adorably unique wishbone-shaped marking on her nose. Her big golden-yellow eyes radiate intelligence, and she’s more than happy to talk to you, letting you know just how smart she is. Socks is very affectionate and loves to interact with people, and she seems content to share her space with other cats, as long as they don’t mind her sometimes rather frisky behavior. Socks is a truly delightful one-year-old cat who’s hoping to find a family that will return the love she so readily gives.
