Fudge is a treat not to be missed. He’s a 2 1/2-year-old terrier mix with a white and brindle coat, light brown eyes, and enough personality for 10 dogs. Fudge is one of those dogs with a wiggle in his walk and a giggle in his talk. He loves everyone he meets, and he’s looking for someone who will let him run off his considerable amount of energy, then crash on the couch. If you want to make her happy, give her plenty of things to chase, and make sure you have a laser pointer, which will entertain you at least as much as it does her. Heather likes attention and is quite affectionate, but she has a lot of energy, so she’d rather be exploring her world than simply lying around looking pretty. The Greenwood Humane Society is a not-for-profit organization committed to the compassionate care and protection of animals.
Their purpose is to give sanctuary to abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, provide education to the public on responsible and humane pet ownership, encourage the public to spay and neuter their pets by providing low cost surgery, and encourage adoptions of those animals placed in their care.
Their adoption center is open Tuesday through Saturday 12:00pm to 5:00pm est.
