Pets of the Week December 23, 2019

MadisonThe marvelous Madison has been waiting far too long for her forever home, and since she is simply an amazing and beautiful dog, both inside and out, it’s a mystery as to why. But she has full confidence that her family is out there, and that they’ll adopt her before the new year. Madison is a 2-year-old black-and-white terrier mix with the heart and face of an angel. She loves everyone she meets, both two-legged and four-legged alike, and she is eager to prove she’s just as polite and well-behaved as she is pretty. Won’t you let Madison love you?

MaryWe challenge anyone NOT to fall in love with Mary. Seriously. It’s impossible. This four-year-old feline has a truly winning personality. The moment she meets you, she wants to be cuddled and scratched and adored. She simply demands your affection, and no one yet has been able to resist her charms. Mary is as black as midnight but with bright yellow eyes and a heart of gold. If you’re looking for that perfect kitty companion, Mary is it. Come meet her today.

Pets of the Week December 16, 2019

LaylaLayla’s huge, sincere smile is a reflection of her big personality. She’s a ball of delightful energy, and she’ll swoop in for all the attention she can get. She’s a two-and-a-half-year-old gray and white terrier mix with a very expressive face and ears that stand tall and proud whenever she’s happy or excited, which is basically ALL the time. Layla has become a staff and volunteer favorite as she’s proven herself eager to learn, whether it’s “sit” and “down” or how to walk nicely on a leash at the dog park. She absolutely adores toys, and she’s hoping her Christmas stocking will be full of them, although her most heartfelt wish is to find a home. Won’t you welcome Layla into yours?

BlizzardBlizzard is a truly beautiful black-and-white tuxedo kitty with enormous golden-yellow eyes that radiate intelligence and just a touch of mischievousness, but that’s to be expected with any eight-month-old feline. She’s very personable and easy-going, accepting cuddles and scratches with good grace, but seeming just as content when left to her own devices. Blizzard is gentle, sweet, playful, and basically an all-around lovely cat. And she’d like nothing more than to make your holiday season the best one ever.

Pets of the Week December 9, 2019

BruceThis gentle giant is all dressed up and ready for those Christmas parties. Bruce is, without a doubt, a big guy, but his personality is more like that of a cuddly teddy bear. Bruce is a handsome 4-year-old black retriever mix with a huge, ever-present smile and a sweet, loving personality. He really enjoys being outside and will occasionally play with a favorite toy, but more than anything, he just wants to hang out with someone. He’s active but not hyper, so he’d fit in happily in just about any household, and since he likes other dogs, he’d be content to have furry siblings as well. Don’t you want this dashing fellow with you this holiday season?

TiggerHow could you possibly resist this happy-go-lucky kitty? Tigger is not only one handsome feline, but he has a laidback, playful, and tolerant disposition that makes him close to perfect. He loves toys, and he wanted us to pass on that he secretly asked Santa for a laser pointer for Christmas as well as a family, because he can’t imagine anything more entertaining. This eight-month-old black and brown tabby is a delight for the eyes as well as the heart, so please consider adding him to your family this festive season.

Pets of the Week December 2, 2019

SiriusSirius is proof that sometimes the best gifts do indeed come in big packages. This handsome 2-year-old, black retriever mix is what most people consider to be a large dog, but he sees himself as a lap dog, and telling him otherwise is simply pointless. He LOVES attention and is eager to please, proving to be intelligent and a quick study. He’s very laid back, although he’s willing to play as well, and he gets along with other dogs, making him even MORE desirable. Won’t you welcome Sirius into your family this holiday season?

TonyCalling all cat lovers – Tony is looking for his forever home. If you’re seeking a feline companion who is sweet, well-behaved, and past that highly energetic kitten stage, this is your boy. Tony is 7 years old, so he’s settled into a gentle maturity that is sure to appeal to anyone. He’s very loving, greeting everyone he meets with a loud purr and a head butt. Plus, he’s quite the looker – a dashing black and white tuxedo, with 4 white paws and a splash of white between his eyes that looks like the stroke of a paint brush. Come meet Tony today.
