PumbaaThere’s no question why Pumbaa was given his name, for it fits him to a T. He’s a kindhearted goofball. Plus, he’s a lovely fawn color with big, prominent ears, so he even looks a bit like his namesake. But it’s his personality that will win you over. At around 20 months old, he’s loaded with energy, so he will need a yard in which to run or plenty of nice long walks or, even better, jogs. He loves spending time with people, but he’s capable of entertaining himself, as well, and best of all, he’s polite and never pushy. Pumbaa adores treats, but he takes any offerings very gently. Overall, he’s just a great dog, and he hopes you’ll feel the same.

TerraTerra is a truly fabulous feline, from her stunning black, orange, and white coat and big yellow eyes to her affectionate, gentle personality. There’s nothing about this cat not to like. She is about 2 years old, so still quite youthful but lacking the exuberance of kittenhood. And speaking of kittens, she has proven herself to be an exceptional mother as well – kind but firm. If you’ve been looking for a new furry friend for your home, Terra just might be what you’ve been hoping for.

FudgeFudge is just as sweet and delightful as his name suggests. His beaming smile and wiggly greeting are the first things you’ll come to love, but once you get to know him, there’s nothing about this wonderful pup that won’t bring you joy. He’s a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a white and brindle coat, light brown eyes, and enough personality for 10 dogs. He loves everyone he meets, and he’s looking for someone who will let him run off his considerable amount of energy, then crash on the couch with a movie and popcorn. Fudge truly is a treat not to be missed.

HelgaAll that can be said about Helga is that she is simply a wonderful cat. Affectionate, loving, and playful, she is one of those kitties who simply wants your attention. She’s a sucker for a treat and likes to show her appreciation by rubbing her forehead against yours. She’s a smart cookie, too, and there’s something about her that says if she could talk, she’d have long conversations with you about everything under the son. Swing by PetSmart to meet this gorgeous 8-month-old black and white beauty today.

ChewieHow could you possibly resist those big brown eyes and that silly gap-toothed grin? Chewie is certainly hoping that you can’t. He’s named after the beloved Star Wars character because, well, that’s who he looks like. He’s a one-year-old Chow Chow mix with a soft, medium-length light brown coat accented with darker brown on his muzzle, ears, and ruff. Chewie has loads of energy and plenty of love to pass around. He is currently recovering from heartworm treatment, so he needs a couple more weeks of calm, but he’ll soon be ready to show off his playful, fun side again.

MaddieMaddie is all dressed up and ready to party with her new family. This gorgeous 7-month-old black-and-white tuxedo kitty is truly something special. She has plenty of energy, as you would expect from such a young cat, but she has just as much love and affection, and she’s hoping to find someone who will give it back ten-fold. She’s special in another way as well – she’s FIV positive, but that’s not a big deal for her or anyone else. Both of her roommates have been adopted, and she wants nothing more than to find her own forever home.

Hellboy 2019

First, let me say that I am basing the 2.5 Stars score solely on the merits of this film. I am not comparing it to the other Hellboy films.

The good – faithful to the comics. A lot of the comics.

The Bad – too many storylines from the comics were used. I tihnk it would have been better to just stick with one and told that story.

The storytelling felt all over the place. Hellboy did not feel like Hellboy. He was not the Everyman coming in – he was a whiny and complaining. He jsut reacted to events and rarely felt like he was doing anything himself.

If they do go ahead with a sequel, I hope the filmmakers can work together instead of against each other (Studio interference stories do not do anything for this film).

Starring: David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim, Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell, Brian Gleeson, Sophie Okonedo, Allstair Petrie, Thomas Hadden Church

Synopsis: DEMONS HAVE DEMONS TOO
Hellboy comes to England, where he must defeat Nimue, Merlin’s consort and the Blood Queen. But their battle will bring about the end of the world, a fate he desperately tries to turn away.

Avengers Endgame

I cannot be objective about this movie. At all. You get laughs, tears, the whole gamut of emotions. The screenwriters and directors manage to pay off every movie from the MCU. Every Movie. Even Thor: Dark World.

I cannot go into the opening scene. It is emotionally devastating. It is a gut punch to remind you people missing and what the remaining people are going through.

Spoilers – no Spoliers. The Avengers track down Thanos after the Snap. It does not go as well as they plan. Then we get a significant time jump. We see how the world has progressed in 5 years with half the population gone.

Ant-Man plays pretty heavily into the plot of Endgame. The Avengers prepare a Heist of epic proportions to gather the stones to undo the Snap. But like all plans, it does not survive contact with the enemy.

Along the way we get to revisit moments from all the previous MCU movies. So much character development. Every character gets their moment to shine in one way or another.

Phase 4 and Beyond are setup. But this could easily be the last MCU movie and tie everything up nicely.

I do not have just one favorite or stand out moment from the movie. But several. A lot from the final reel.

Two quotes to highlight a couple:

Thor -> “…I Knew It!”

Spider-Man -> “…Instant-Kill…”

Starring: Anyone and Everyone from previous MCU movies.
