A’righty mate, it’s time to join Patch in his daily search for gold…or in other words, his new family! Wearing a perfect brindle accessory over his left eye that complements his chalk white coat, he is dressed and ready for an exciting adventure. At 5-years-old, Patch is in search of someone who appreciates long walks, a buddy for TV binging, and nap time. With his good looks and a dynamite disposition, what more could you ask for? A true All-American dog, Patch is without question the buddy you’ve been looking for.

There’s no question that Camellia is as pretty as the flower itself, but her personality is what truly blossoms. This 2-year-old black and caramel colored Tortishell kitty cat is full of tenderhearted snuggles and head butts. She even gives kisses! When she turns on the love her purr kicks into high gear, so sit back and enjoy the melody of sweet affection. Great with other cats and accepting of dogs, there’s nothing but kindness for others when it comes to Camellia. Attentive, affectionate and full of charm, Camellia will always let you know you’ve got a friend.

Norma, the cat, loves dogs. If there’s a lonely cat-loving canine looking for a new best friend, Norma would like to apply for the position. Patient humans who will allow her space are also fine, but other felines she’d rather live without. She’s an 8-month-old Tabby whose variegated browns blend like a creamy cappuccino. Petite and quiet, she’d love a low energy home where she can relax, except during doggie play time, of course.

Sporty Talia is in the elite group of dogs enrolled in the Pawsitive Prison Program. She has learned over twenty commands and acquired the social skills to smoothly mingle and thrive in all circles. At just under two-years-old, she is a doggie prodigy far surpassing more mature dogs with her specialized training. She has a puppy mind and heart, loving squeaky toys and other appropriate chewable items. As an active dog, running and chasing tennis balls is a favorite pastime, as is curling up in someone’s lap and cuddling.

Pets of the Week April 17, 2017

Showing off contemporary style and youthful good looks, Eric is an 11-month-old heartthrob who could easily be the “coverdog” of a canine version of GQ magazine. His coat looks like caramel candy drops melting over a vanilla bean milkshake and his pink nose is the cherry on top. Eric loves to play in the water or zip around the yard to catch his favorite football or tennis ball, always welcoming a new game. If he can play those games with his humans, he’s reached the height of happiness. Passing out kisses and gigantic grins, Eric is full of heart and the desire to find his new best friend.

Cleopatra is dazzling with her classic colors and hypnotizing green eyes. (The blue collar is only temporary to keep her from bothering her spay incision.) Cleopatra is a mature cat, gentle, refined and lovely both inside and out. A dusted taupe and black cloak lays perfectly across her back, allowing her stark white accents to peek out from underneath like a crisp, new blouse. This flawless beauty queen will be the ruler of your heart and home, but it will all be done with great love and affection. Asking for nothing more than kindness and a soft, cozy bed…or maybe a crown…Cleopatra will add both love and beauty to your home.

Pets of the Week April 10, 2017

A big bundle of chocolate goodness is Baxter, a 3-year-old Retriever mix who would look super sweet on anyone’s couch. Stocky and strong, Baxter likes to get his workouts through long walks, galavanting through the yard, and jumping up to give hugs. Afterward, he likes to relax, lie in the sun, and show off his glistening Indian red coat. Baxter’s full of enthusiastic playfulness, so a family who enjoys a game of fetch and retrieve, jogging, and other fun, energetic activities would be perfect for him. Baxter is an all around American dog hoping for the ideal family and … a doggy bed to call his own.

As pretty as a picture and dignified as a queen, Clover is a lovely, black and white adult cat who’s calm, cool and collected. With a preference for an extra soft and fluffy bed for her extra soft and fluffy body, she loves to curl up in a tiny little ball and enjoy long and luxurious naps. When not focusing on her beauty rest, she loves quality time with people. Her gorgeous mellow yellow eyes will brighten as you sit down to pet her and tell her about your day. Clover is a spectacular companion for those who like to relax and lead the calm life with their one and only best friend.

Pets of the Week April 3, 2017

Princess’ dreams are no different than most “girls.” Dressed in jeweled attire and adored by many are a few on this two-year-old’s wish list. Most of all she longs for lasting love. A child’s playful fun and a grown-up’s gift of time and attention bring out the sweetest of her smiles. Long-legged with pretty white boots and a buckskin coat, Princess is dressed to impress so that you’ll be awed by her presence and destined to fall in love.

Plenty of sunshine lies ahead for whoever adopts Sunny, a year old Tabby who is as orange as marmalade and just as sweet. Gentle natured and easy going, this charming fella longs to be a part of whatever it is you’re doing, whether it’s cleaning house, cooking dinner, or watching TV. If there’s a lap available, he’s in it! An expert at catching toy mice and a huge fan of tasty treats, Sunny will always keep you entertained and on your toes.
