Pets of the Week November 11, 2019

GrumpMeet Grump, an 8-year-old Chihuahua who’s looking for a special home. Chihuahua lovers know they can be a bit choosy when it comes to their selected people, and this guy is no exception. But once he decides you’re his, all he wants to do is sit in your lap and be adored. Grump is a special needs dog, as he has a grade-6 heart murmur, so he’s looking for a home where he can just hang out and relax. November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month, so please consider giving Grump the love he deserves.

NeptuneNeptune is one of those cats that will win over anyone, even those who claim to be strictly dog people. And it’s not just his good looks, which by the way, are out of this world. He is a stunning black and white tuxedo kitty with some of the most attractive markings you’ll ever see. His head is black, except for his muzzle, which is bright white with a pointed streak going up between his eyes. PLUS, he’s playful, sweet, and loving, serenading any attention with a loud purr and a head butt. This 6-month-old feline is simply fabulous.

Pets of the Week November 4, 2019

PhoenixLike the mythical bird rising from the ashes to fly again, this Phoenix overcame his rough beginning to blossom into a wonderful, sweet, and beautiful dog. At just over a year old, he’s a ball of delightful energy, so he’s hoping for a home where he can stretch his long legs, chasing a ball or perhaps a four-legged friend. This medium-size mixed breed is such a cutie, too, with his grey-brown coat, huge brown eyes, and adorably expressive ears. Phoenix is a very special pup who deserves a loving family. Won’t you let it be yours?

BondiBondi wants to make it clear that black cats are actually lucky. You know why? Because if you adopt one into your family, your life is sure to immediately improve. Not only is Bondi beautiful, but she’s also as loving and silly as they come. She just turned 6 months old, so she’s still full of that kitten energy, meaning toys are her main thing. She happily accepts any and all attention, and when she gazes at you with her big, intelligent, yellow-green eyes, you’ll fall in love. Come meet this fabulous feline today.

Pets of the Week October 28, 2019

PennyWe could all use a few more pennies, right? How about just ONE Penny? This wonderful dog is still waiting for her forever home, and no one can figure out why, because she is AMAZING. She’s sweet, affectionate and, well behaved. Penny loves belly rubs, treats, long walks, and toys. Oh, and she gets on well with other dogs and kids. Basically, she’s just the best. Plus, she’s cute as a button. She’s a two-year-old mixed breed that looks a lot like a Rottweiler, although she weighs less than 40 lbs. So who wants to add one more Penny to their household?

CarolYou’d be hard pressed to find a Tabby prettier than Carol. This one-year-old kitty has some of the nicest coloring you’re likely to come across – a lovely mixture of grey and rust. It’s truly striking. But pictures don’t do her justice, so you really need to meet her. That’s when you’ll truly fall head over heels, because Carol is a love bug. She likes her toys, but she LOVES her cuddles. And don’t even think about walking past her without saying hello. Sweet, carefree Carol is waiting just for you.

Pets of the Week October 21, 2019

NoxNox is one of those dogs who’s always smiling. Perhaps because that’s just who he is. But it might also be because he knows he’s one lucky boy. He was a Hurricane Dorian evacuee, and he’s looking for a new forever home right here. Nox is a medium-size, 2-year-old, mixed breed with a sleek black coat highlighted with white on his chest and down his nose. But he’s more than just a pretty face. He’s also sweet and loving, happily accepting the company of both people and dogs. Oh, and he LOVES toys, and would be delighted to have his very own yard in which to run.

YangEveryone who meets Yang has the same initial reaction: she’s simply irresistible. Not only is she a truly beautiful tabby, but she’s so playful and affectionate, you can’t help but smile. The moment she sees you, she starts purring in an effort to grab your attention. Then she swoops in for a snuggle, gazing up at you with her huge golden-yellow eyes. Yang is just 5 months old, so she has plenty of energy and will happily play with any toy around.

Pets of the Week October 14, 2019

FudgeFudge is a treat not to be missed. He’s a 2 1/2-year-old terrier mix with a white and brindle coat, light brown eyes, and enough personality for 10 dogs. Fudge is one of those dogs with a wiggle in his walk and a giggle in his talk. He loves everyone he meets, and he’s looking for someone who will let him run off his considerable amount of energy, then crash on the couch. Nothing would make this playful pooch happier than finding a forever home before Halloween, so he can go trick-or-treating with his new family.

HeatherIf you’re looking for a feline friend who LOVES to play, look no further than Heather. This 9-month-old beauty has two interests: toys and exploration. If you want to make her happy, give her plenty of things to chase, and make sure you have a laser pointer, which will entertain you at least as much as it does her. Heather likes attention and is quite affectionate, but she has a lot of energy, so she’d rather be exploring her world than simply lying around looking pretty. And she is pretty as well, with her soft gray coat and huge yellow-green eyes. Swing by today to meet the new love of your life.
