Pets of the Week June 18, 2012

Her pedigree says “Pamper me,” and when you hold her like a smiling child you’ll know she’s pure Pekingese through and through — cheerful, cooperative, loving and housetrained, an always-fun sidekick who lives for the thrill of being with you. Four-year-old Bon Bon is clearly lost, she’s healthy and already spayed; now it’s time for her to grace your home with her ladylike diplomacy and fun, undemanding companionship. Bon Bon welcomes a nice leash-walk enthusiastically and makes it her mission to never meet a stranger. Come hug our fluffy stuffed-toy come to life, and see how Bon Bon’s oh-so-real heart feels when it beats joyfully next to yours.

She’s a pint-sized gift wrapped in tiger-and-white velvet, and she’ll cradle you in a luscious purr that’s bigger than both of you put together. At one year old Vivi’s an ever-pouring fountain of pure contentment — adoring you is what she was born for, and her miniature form makes her ginormous warmth that much more touching. Vivi was found stray, who knows how she learned to love so earnestly; she’s so determined to share affection she’ll Houdini herself into the next cage to make fast friends with the neighboring cat. Vivi’s tidy, patient and gentle, and would make a lovely first pet for your kids, who’ll delight in her ermine-soft fur, kittenish size and fervent face-rubbing devotion. Her face is patchwork but her passion for treasuring you is cut from a single fine cloth; come let Vivi hold you in her steadfast little paws.
