Pets of the Week April 8, 2013

Farley
Want a dog that gets along with everyone? Farley’s a two-year-old Hound gentleman of the highest — and “funnest” — degree. Packed full of smartitude, he has already been taught to sit, lay down, and shake. You may see a toy or two or three around him, because he does love to play with tennis balls and rope toys, but he is fastidious about keeping his kennel clean. His youthful energy is contagious and you will find yourself smiling wide from ear-to-ear just by being around him.

Chloe
Chloe the talking cat, the wonderful talking cat. There’s no subject under the sun that this petite one-year-old Brown Tabby won’t chime in about and give her opinion. The problem is no one necessarily understands what she’s saying. It’s best just to nod in agreement and pat her head. When she’s not talking, she’s playing with her toys, cuddling in someone’s lap, or … thinking about what to say next. Chloe is currently available for adoption at Petsmart.

The Greenwood Humane Society is a not-for-profit organization committed to the compassionate care and protection of animals.

Their purpose is to give sanctuary to abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, provide education to the public on responsible and humane pet ownership, encourage the public to spay and neuter their pets by providing low cost surgery, and encourage adoptions of those animals placed in their care.

Their adoption center is open Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm est.
