Pets of the Week June 24, 2013

Todd
He’s more a White Knight than a young Boxer mix — a strong, gorgeous, 2-years-young athlete, full of good will for you and everyone, ready to charge into your life full tilt and banish all thoughts of ho-hum pets forever. Todd was found lost, a gleaming, outgoing good guy with a soft pink smile; he’ll gallop around the yard, come flying when you call him, “sit” on command, and give you a gallant kiss, showing off his aristocratic build all the while. Todd loves water, rope toys, kids and most other dogs, too; he even likes cats. He needs room to run, a little shade and an attentive family who prizes his courtly-canine manners. If your home is your castle Todd would love to share your future; meet this shining young man and end your quest for the perfect dog today.

Dane
He’s a magnet of a cat, so charming he even sleeps adorably, flat on his back with his legs up and his paws curled in; but then our 1 ½ year old Dane’s just as beguiling when he’s awake — he’s alert, intelligent, lavishly handsome and utterly intrigued — with you. (Oh yes, he’s affectionate, too; he’ll rub his face over you with abandon, and you’ll only ask for more.) His silky tiger and white fur’s as enticing as his attention, you’ll need to sink your fingers in, no permission needed. Dane’s gentle and well-mannered, a fine choice for kids and other cats; he’s currently surrounded by females in his big cage (just friends mind you, he’s neutered) and all’s well. Feel the flattery of Dane’s intent gaze, then take him home and enjoy the everyday pull of his warm, fascinating, forever friendship.
