Pets of the Week January 20, 2014

Blitzen
He’s a ton of fun and just 37 lbs! Exuberant 1-½ year old hound/mix Blitzen is the darling of the yard; he’ll gallop for a toy, race by to give a kiss, hang out for a gentle wag and zoom off again, always on his merry way. He’s affectionate but not needy, energized but gentle, an ever-smiling playmate with infinite reserves of patience. Blitzen would be the consummate sidekick for an outgoing family, or a single who thrives on happy companionship; he could easily be an apartment pet. He’s fine with other dogs and working on his house training. Call Blitzen to you today, see how eagerly he weighs in to your heart and how light it feels ever after.

Trinity
Meet nimble Trinity and you’ll see there’s nothing missing, despite the fact that she came to us with only one back leg (the other was professionally amputated) She has, after all, everything she needs to be a perfectly loving 2-year-old — a soft black “Torti” face with gold flecks that don’t rub off on you, two gentle front paws for muffin-making, a generous purr melody she’ll sing at a moment’s notice, and a personality so cheerful she makes the rest of us look unbalanced. (And yes she gets around just fine, thanks). Trinity’s OK with other cats, keeps a tidy box and looks forward to showing you how hard it is to spot her missing limb, and how easy it is to feel she makes your life blissfully complete.
