Pets of the Week January 13, 2014

Lana
She’s a porcelain-pink skinned young lady underneath her clean white coat, 4 years young and radiantly affectionate, fully capable of hearing with her heart and coming to a hand signal too, not letting a small thing like deafness stand in her gentle way. American Pit Bull terrier mix Lana epitomizes femininity, she’ll run and play joyously but is too well-mannered to jump on you, and her loving disposition’s as pure as her smile. Lana’s already partially house trained and eager to become your perfect inside dog; meet her and see how an oh-so-pretty girl can become your most resilient friend, and your family’s too.

Thunder
Except for the soft rumble of her contented purr there’s nothing stormy about 2-year old tortoise shell beauty “Thunder.” (Well if you counted the lovely splashes of gold in her black coat as lightning against a night sky you might be onto something, but she’s really the most peaceful of cats, and at
8 lbs. forever small — cuddly, social, and adaptable too, she could live inside or out.) Visit Thunder at Petsmart to see how sweetly this warm, girly, muffin-making Thunder can give you your daily dose of sunshine despite her tempestuous name.
