Pets of the Week June 30, 2014

Fuse Great Pyrenees patience and composure with Border Collie intelligence, then throw in some Lab for all-American appeal and you have a 50 lb. friend (he’s only 3 and more polite than most of us, no offense) so charming you must meet him to believe him. Rambler won popularity contests paws-down at Camp Good Dog; he’s a dream with kids — fun, gentle and trustworthy, and a go-to playmate for other dogs too. Handsome Rambler’s a delightful medium-size; he thrives on learning and can already sit for a treat, he’s great on a leash and will kennel himself on request. (You can even pick him up like a baby.) Rambler could easily be your inside son, with a yard for playtime please; he’s fine with cats and ready to become the most beloved member of your family. Come meet the mixed-breed, pure-pleasure phenom named Rambler.

Torti cats bring good luck according to Irish lore; whoever adopts our richly-colored 3-year-old “Rose” will be fortunate indeed. At 9 lbs. and full grown Rose will be forever small — a sweet, quiet and independent little lady — neat as a pin with her box, and the very opposite of needy in terms of personality. Rose is perfect for gracing a quiet home (one with older kids or none at all); she’ll live happily inside/outside, or sharing your apartment would be fun too. Rose enjoys her own space and demands little else, she simply wants to keep you company; with some nice
snuggles, of course. (She ignore other cats, her focus is you.) See how easy it is to feel lucky every day, with a steadfast little girl named Rose by your side.
