Pets of the Week September 2, 2019

EricEric’s sweet face is a perfect reflection of his personality. He radiates kindness, and his deep brown eyes are a window to a gentle and loving soul. He’s only a year old, so he’s looking forward to a long, happy life with his forever family. Eric is a black and white retriever mix, so he does have his playful side, but he is usually quite laid back and content to entertain himself with a ball or chew toy if you’re busy.

CeCeCeCe is short for “cuddly cat,” which is very descriptive. This fabulous feline is 8 months old, sporting a gorgeous black and white coat and dazzling yellow-green eyes. But it’s her loving nature that will win you over. She simply craves attention, and if she isn’t getting all the hugs and cuddles she thinks she should be, she will come find you and tell you about it. CeCe is typically a rather calm kitty, but every once in a while, she likes to run around, chasing a favorite toy. One of her favorite pastimes is watching the world through a window, and she’d probably be delighted to be an indoor/outdoor cat.

LaylaLayla’s ever-present smile is just as big as her personality. She’s very in sync with people and their emotions, whether that means spending a fun, energetic day at the park or a lazy day on the couch. Layla is a medium-to-large-sized mixed breed with a lovely gray and white coat. She’s only about 2 ½ years old, so still quite young. She has an extremely expressive face and ears that stand tall and proud whenever she’s excited, which is basically ALL the time. Layla likes her two-legged companions better than the four-legged kind, however, as she seems to think she deserves all the loves. She is longing for her forever home. Won’t you let it be yours?

BlancoAre you seeking a four-legged companion who will not only run and play but also cuddle and serenade you when the right song comes on? If so, Blanco is your perfect match. This unbelievably handsome one-year-old Siberian Husky mix has it all: a fun, playful personality, loads of energy, a gorgeous white coat, stunningly blue eyes, and a lovely voice to match. Blanco gets very excited when he hears music – especially cello music – and he simply can’t resist singing along. As is typical of his breed, he is quite intelligent and in need of plenty of exercise. Blanco wants to be YOUR new singing partner.

CosmoCosmo is simply irresistible. It’s true. It is impossible to meet this cat and not love him. He’s about 5 years old, so no longer a high-energy kitten; he’s much more interested in snuggles and lap time. He’s black and white with lovely green-yellow eyes. But it’s the coloring on his head that will really catch your eye – his face is all white, and over his ears and down the sides of his head, it’s black, making him look like he’s wearing a black wig. It’s really quite adorable. Come claim Cosmo before someone else does.

Pets of the Week August 12, 2019

FudgeFudge is just as sweet and delightful as his name suggests. His beaming smile and wiggly greeting are the first things you’ll come to love, but once you get to know him, there’s nothing about this wonderful pup that won’t bring you joy. He’s a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a white and brindle coat, light brown eyes, and enough personality for 10 dogs. He loves everyone he meets, and he’s looking for someone who will let him run off his considerable amount of energy, then crash on the couch with a movie and popcorn. Fudge truly is a treat not to be missed.

HeatherTo say Heather is a love bug would be an understatement. This fabulous feline is all about the cuddles. And she’s not one of those cats that’s choosy about when she gets attention either. She basically wants to be the center of attention all day, every day. So if you’re looking for a lap cat, look no further than this 7-month-old sweetie. Heather is truly gorgeous as well, with her soft gray coat and huge yellow-green eyes. Swing by today to meet the new love of your life.

Pets of the Week August 5, 2019

PumbaaCalling all Lion King fans. Meet Pumbaa, the kindhearted goofball. And with his lovely fawn color and big, prominent ears, he even looks a bit like his namesake. But it’s this pup’s personality that will win you over. At just under 2 years old, he’s loaded with energy, so he needs a yard in which to run or plenty of nice long walks. He loves spending time with people, but he’s capable of entertaining himself, as well, and best of all, he’s polite and never pushy. Pumbaa adores treats, but he takes any offerings very gently. Overall, he’s just a great dog.

DipstickDon’t let Dipstick’s name fool you – he’s no dummy. In fact, he got his name because his black tail looks like it was dipped in oil. You’ll love this four-year-old’s other markings as well. His white coat is adorned with a black heart on his back and the most adorable black spot on his nose that looks like it was painted on. He’s a loving, affectionate kitty who craves attention. He is FIV positive, but that’s no big deal. It basically just means he needs to stay inside, so he has less chance of getting any illnesses. But guess what? Inside is exactly where he likes to be.
