Pets of the Week March 23, 2015

Blake
Blake is a fan favorite with an entire cheerleading squad at his back. How could you not root for such a handsome and happy dog? Blake is a rip-roaring 5-year-old Border collie and German Shepherd dog cross with loyalty and smarts aplenty. He sports a thick, midnight black coat with just enough grey on his muzzle to give him a distinguished, worldly look. Blake isn’t all business though, he loves to play with people and pets alike. Blake is medium-sized and was an indoor dog in the past, so he could settle in easily to most homes and would even be a great pick for apartment life with an active owner. Blake is ready to take his popularity to new heights by becoming the heart of a new family. Come and visit Blake today, to see what everybody’s cheering about and you just might find your very own biggest fan.

Berni
He’s bashful at first, but it only takes an instant for Bernie to warm right up and cuddle into a friendly embrace. Bernie loves to be held and he can never get enough soft chin scratches. He’s a dashing feline with an impeccably tailored tuxedo coat, a “homebody” who prefers to keep his kennel spic and span. He is just over 2 years old and gets along happily with cats and dogs alike. His patience and laid back “cattitude” will make him a marvelous member of a family with children. Bernie may be a quiet kitty, but he’s also quite the ham when it comes to tussling with toy mice or showing off his dance moves while chasing the beam of a laser pointer. He’s ready to head home today and start sharing long naps in a comfy chair with you because those are always best when curled up with a feline friend. Bernie can be visited at Petsmart in Greenwood.

Adoption fees waived for the pets of the week through Saturday!
