Pets of the Week November 19, 2018

MilesIf you’re looking for a canine companion with a heart of gold, a boatload of energy, and a face so handsome, he could appear on the cover of doggie magazines, Miles is your man. This 10-month-old German Shepherd mix is a heartbreaker for sure, with his black, white, and tan coat and big brown eyes, but it’s his sweet personality that will truly win you over. Miles is humble and very eager to please, and nothing makes him happier than spending time with people. He’d much rather get pets and snuggles than chase after toys. This is one irresistible pup who wants nothing more than to be a part of someone’s family.

FelixA cat called Felix may sound a bit cliché, but the name means happy or lucky, which really fits this lovable guy. Big, handsome, and fluffy, he sports a thick black coat with a splash of grey on his chest. But his good looks are simply icing on the cake, as he is an absolute sweetheart and love bug. As soon as you pick him up, he’s giving you head butts and tight, snuggly hugs. At 3 years old, he’s moved beyond the hyper kitten stage but still quite young, with many years of affection and companionship to offer. Felix gets along well with other cats and seems to truly enjoy getting to know everyone he meets.

SugarWho doesn’t want a little more sugar in their lives? Well, you’re in luck, because you can have just that with this sweet pup. Sugar is a 1-year-old Terrier-Pointer mix with a winning personality and a face just as lovable as her name. She sports a pretty white coat accented with a dark brown patch over her right eye and ear, but it’s that huge grin that will steal your heart. Sugar can be a little bashful at first, but once she gets to know you, her true outgoing, high-energy nature comes through. She absolutely loves toys, and would be delighted to find a family that would take her on long hikes.

SantanaYou’d be hard pressed to find a prettier kitty than Santana, and why would you even try? She’s 5 months old with a gorgeous grey and white coat, light green eyes, and a loving, playful personality. She likes to show her affection for her humans by giving kisses and asking for head scratches, and she’s perfectly content to share her space with other cats. She’s a truly sweet girl who’s sure to brighten any household. Despite her famous namesake, however, Santana prefers a more reserved lifestyle and isn’t interested in having her picture taken very often. Come fall in love with Santana before someone else does.

NickNick has a smile that will brighten anyone’s day. And he is fully aware of just how charming he is, as he’s been wiggling his way into everyone’s hearts from day one. He’s a silly, happy-go-lucky boy and simply adorable, with his short legs, thick, almost bulldog-like body, and handsome brindle and white coat. Nick loves meeting new people, especially if they’ll let him snuggle in their laps. He has a considerable amount of energy, so he’s looking for a family who will take him on long walks or give him a big yard in which he can run. Come meet this irresistible, one-year-old terrier mix today.

LouisYou may think of yourself as a dog person, but once you meet Louis, you’ll realize it’s actually the cats that have your heart. Louis is a big guy with a playful, fun-loving personality, a striking orange and white coat, and captivating light green eyes. He is very outgoing as well, immediately approaching everyone he meets and greeting them with a loud purr, a head butt, or a bit of feline conversation. This delightful cat is only 6 months old, so he may get even bigger, but that just means more to love. Come meet Louis today – you’ll be glad that you did.

Pets of the Week October 22, 2018

RomanRoman is just as strong, handsome, and masculine as his name suggests. This 3-year-old retriever mix has an attractive golden-yellow coat, big brown eyes, and a smile at least a mile wide. He thinks he’s a canine Casanova, smoothing in for kisses and cuddles whenever the opportunity arises. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like to play, because Roman is extremely energetic and athletic. He’d love to have a fenced-in yard where he can stretch those long legs because when he isn’t trying to climb into your lap, he wants nothing more than to be running and chasing a favorite toy.

MyraThere’s a good chance that the one thing missing in your life is Myra. This 9-month-old black and white kitty is a true gem among cats, with a winning personality and beauty to spare. She is sweet and affectionate, always up for receiving attention, especially if you have a few tasty treats handy. And although she loves little mouse toys, she’s typically quite calm and laid back. Myra is also a talker, and she will gladly tell you all about her day and listen attentively to a recount of yours. And since she gets along just fine with other felines, there’s no reason she wouldn’t be happy to join a family with furry siblings.
