From IMDB: A former Special Forces operative turned mercenary is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopting the alter ego Deadpool. (This really doesn’t do this movie justice)
Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams
TL;DR – I frickin loved this movie! Among the best realized comic to screen adaptations.
First and foremost. This is not a movie for children. The level of violence is outstanding. As is the language. And the sexual content.
For all that…this is my favorite Fox super hero movie. I liked it enough to see it 2 times in the theater. Something I rarely ever do.
This was the character Ryan Reynolds was meant to play. Not Green Lantern. Maybe a Wally West Flash – before Barry Allen was brought back from the dead.
They had the best portrayal of Colossus ever. The amount of humor to action was spot on.
I normally hate 4th wall breaking, but this movie was meant for it.
Does this movie have plot holes. Sure. Does it matter. Not in this movie. This movie is enjoyable enough for you to overlook a lot of things that would be huge negatives in another movie.
This is not me being a die-hard Deadpool fan from the comics. I actually cannot stand the character Deadpool in the comics. Given that, my love for this movie surprised me.
They kept the tone from the teaser produced a few years back.
Ok. I think I need to stop random gushing.
